2.Theframe:
Theframeismadeofweldedsteelplateandstressrelieftreatedtoobtainthegoodrigidityandhighstrength.Theplacewherethecrankshaftbearingisfittedisstrengthenedbyusingribbedplates.Theframeisfurnishedwiththenecessaryoilbasinandoilwaysystemforcoolingandlubricatingpurpose.
3.Crankshaft
Thecrankshaftismadeofcastalloysteelandfurnishedwithherringbonegear,connectingrodandbearing.Thetoothformofthebiggearedringisherringbonegear.Thegearboreandthecrankshaftsurfaceareinterferencefittedandtheyarebothfastenedwithboltsandlocknuts.Thebigendoftheconnectingrodismountedonthreeeccentricstrapsofthecrankshaftthroughsinglerowshortcylindricalrollerbearingsandthesmallendonthecrossheadpinthroughdoublerowlongcylindricalrollerbearing.Doublerowradialsphericalrollerbearingsaremountedatbothendsofthecrankshaft.
4.Pinionshaft
Thepinionshaftismadeofforgedalloysteelonwhichaherringbonegearwiththemedium-hardtoothsurfaceismachined.Foreasymaintenance,thesinglerowradiallongcylindricalrollerbearingwithinnerringwithoutsidesisused.Thebothendsofthepinionshaftextendout,sothatthesheaveorthesprocketcanbemountedoneitherend.
5.CrossheadandExtensionRod
ThecrossheadandcrossheadguidearemadeofASTMA48-83meehanitecastironfeaturedbygoodabrasionresistanceandlongservicelife.UpperandlowerguidesareusedforF-800andHBF-1000mudpumps,sothattheconcentricitycanbeadjustedbyaddingshimsbeneaththelowerguide.HBF-500mudpumpisthecylindricalstructure.Theconnectionbetweenthecrossheadandtheextensionrodismadebyusingboltedflange.Therigidconnectionensurestheconcentricityofthecrossheadandtheextensionrod.Thecouplingisusedforconnectingtheextensionrodtothepistonrod.Thelight-weightcouplingenablestheextensionrodandthepistonrodtoconnecttoeachothereasilyandreliably.

1.Cylinders
Cylindersaremadeofforgedalloysteel,threecylindersofeachpumpareinterchangeable.Valve-over-valvethroughtypecylinderdesignreducesthecylindervolumeandpromotethevolumetricefficiency.Atcustomers'request,thecylindersurfacemaybenickelplatedtoimprovetheabrasionresistance.
Dischargepulsationdampener,shearreliefvalveanddischargestrainerarefurnishedattheoutlet.HBF-500pumpsuctioninletisfittedwith8"flange,HBF-500pumpsuctioninletwith10"flangeandHBF-1000pumpsuctioninletwith12"flange.
2.ValveAssembly
Thesuctionvalveandthedischargevalveforabovethreemudpumpsareinterchangeable.HBF-500mudpumpusesAPI#5valvepot,HBF-800andHBF-1000mudpumpsuseAPI#6valvepots.
3.Liners
Bi-metallinersareused.Thesleeveismadeofwear-resistantcastiron,thesurfacehardnessisHRC60-65.Therefore,linersfeaturewearresistance,corrosionresistanceandhighsurfacefinish.Linersareputinfromthecylindercoverboreinthefrontofthecylinderandfixedwithlinercage,cylindercoverplugandcylindercoverwheninstalling.
4.PistonsandPistonRods
Theyareslidefitted,sealedwithrubbersealringandfinallyfastenedwithlocknutstopreventthepistonfromloosenessandtoplayaroleinsealing.
Cylinders,liners,pistons,valves,valveseats,valvesprings,sealrings,valvecoversandcylindercoversatthefluidendofHBF-800andHBF-1000mudpumpsareallinterchangeable.
Ⅲ.SprayingSystem
Thesprayingsystemconsistsmainlyofspraypump,coolingwaterbox,andspraypipe,thefunctionistocoolandrinselinersandpistonstopromotetheirservicelife.
Thecentrifugalspraypumpcanbedrivenbyasheavemountedontheinputshaftextensionendoraseparatemotorandcooledandlubricatedbywater.
Thespraypipeismountedonthecouplingbetweentheextensionrodandthepistonrodandcanreciprocatewiththepiston.Nozzleisnearthepistonendsothatthelubricating-coolingfluidcanrinsethecontactsurfacebetweenthepistonandlinerallthetime.Thedurablefixedspraypipemaybeused,too.
Ⅳ.LubricatingSystem
Thepowerendusesthecombinedlubricatingsystemofforcedlubricationandsplashlubrication.Thepressureoilisconveyedthroughlubricatingpipeline,crosshead,extensionrod,crossheadguideandallbearingsbyagearoilpumpwithintheoilboxtorealizetheforcedlubrication.Theworkingconditionofthegearoilpumpmaybeunderstoodfromthepressuregaugebehindtheframe.
Ⅴ.ChargingSystem
Topreventtheairlockoccurringforlowpumpinletpressure,everymudpumpisfurnishedwithacompletechargingsystem.Itconsistsofchargingpump,pumpbase,butterflyvalveandcorrespondingmanifold.Mountedonthesuctionmanifoldofthemudpump,thechargingpumpisdrivenbythespecialpurposemotorortheinputshaftofthemudpumpthroughV-beltstoreducethepowerconsumption.
